ESP TeachersWho We AreESP teachers are Stanford students and community members, and also other professionals, and interested people in the Bay area. We are bound together by the common love for teaching and enthusing others about what we find exciting in the world around us. Teach AnythingWe teach what we find exciting, and since there can be no reason behind excitement, there can be no guidelines for what we teach either. Just as a shimmering star can excite a poet into a romantic rhythm and a physicist into the subtleties of optics, so can our classes tear apart Physics and Philately alike, the history of skateboarding and stargazing, and the art of knitting and knot theory alike. Classes can also include hands on work or any other activities. If you are interested in teaching, all you have to do is tell us what you want to teach, and the class is entirely in your hands to run. VolunteeringVolunteering is as easy as telling us what you want to do! If you like making posters, you can help make posters. If you like talking to people and recruiting them, definitely do that. If you like entering things into a spreadsheet (well, some people do like doing that kind of stuff!) we have spreadsheets galore! If you like waking up early to help people sign up for classes, well, we love you! Basically, anything you can think of, we will need your help with! Just contact us and we can come up with something fun for you to help out with for Splash! Last modified by bshank on March 09, 2008 at 04:42 a.m. |
