Welcome Mao (undergrad Art Studio major)! present: Mike, Aakash, Mao, Ming, JD, Ben, Shuai, PDOX, Scott, Muni

Finances: Ben: ASSU gave us >$2000: 1500 for rooms, 400 for ad, 100 non ad Scott & JD: called 17 schools, 8~10 ready to get packets handouts posters, needs packets etc prepared, ~5 or so already heard about us. Conselor concerns: A. lunch funded? B. classes varied so friends don’t all take same classes

art ads: Mao will change around what we already have. posters, pamphlets, will be done by Sunday night.

teacher recruitment: current count: 14 classes deadline for class registration: March 15 (Saturday before finals) catalog will be up March 18, student reg will open March 20 morning. will keep teacher reg open after March 15, but will not be advertised. One dorm interested in a study break: Wilbur sometime during deadweek. get their email addresses, or bring a laptop to have them sign up right there. Ben will contact teachers who haven’t signed up for classes, individually to remind them. parents can also teach.

teacher training: send an email before break with resources, have training after break, have classes prepared before coming. Check rules what teachers have to do (forms, training?) contact person: Ming if teachers can’t make teacher training: 15 minute interview with one of us. Both sessions after spring break, April 1&2, informal lunch and dinner, sponsored by us.

Web: hard to sign up for classes, pdox will also make teacher email list available. Shuai created a facebook group. Let’s join. all teachers can see teachers. our email account: standfordesp@gmail.com pdox will set up email lists on stanfordesp, including an admin list for us.
