Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hey everyone! I am a Stanford freshman in the Chemistry department. I am originally from southern California, just south of Long Beach. I lived with my family, mom, dad, brother and sister for my entire life in the same house before moving to Stanford. My academic interests are mainly focused on synthetic chemistry (i.e. making compounds like medicines), neurobiology, and cetology (the study of whales). I am hoping to do research on neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's and spinal cord injury. Currently I am just enjoying the undergraduate life, relaxing with friends and playing intramural sports. Speaking of sports, I am a huge fan of a lot of different sports, soccer, gymnastics, diving, volleyball, swimming, and basketball, just to name a few. I played soccer competitively up until the end of my senior year in high school.
