Brief Biographical Sketch:
I'm 19, from Santa Barbara, CA, and am a performance artist. I am primarily, at present, an improvisor, and have tried to apply the fundamentals of that field to the rest of my life. It's going well. Haiku: Harder Than It Looks in Splash! Spring 2009
The class will begin with a very brief overview of the history and cultural elements of renga, the linked verse form from which haiku is adapted, and then we will compose our own linked verse poem!
Improv: Making Something Out of Nothing in Splash! Fall 2008
A brief glimpse into some of the components of improvisational theatre, this course will strive to introduce students to the foundational elements of improv through practice and to demonstrate the every day applications it can have on one's life.
