Brief Biographical Sketch:
Born in Oxnard, CA. Began hip hop dance in the 8th grade on Undeclared Dance Crew. Joined Channel Islands All Male Dance team 2007-2011. Past Classes(Look at the class archive for more.)Hip Hop Intermediate: Smooth Choreography in Splash! Spring 2012
Students will take a step into the dance scene and learn smooth choreography taught by dancer and choreographer Lloyd Lucin. He has won national championships in high school with Channel Islands All Male and is currently dancing for three hip hop teams in NorCal. Students will learn counting and the importance of execution, angle placements, and performance, and will most of all have fun!
Hip Hop, the Happy Robot in Splash! Fall 2011
Students will learn a section of choreography taught at a beginners pace in order to appreciate a fun expression of hip hop dance. Students will learn a gist of the importance of angle placements, arm extensions, body isolations, and facial expressions in dance performance. Choreography will be based on elementary robotics and simple modern tutting. No experience required
