Brief Biographical Sketch:
I have a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate Degree from Clemson University, and I'm working on my Master's in Aero/Astro here at Stanford. I've interned at the Jet Propulsion Lab (mars robots), Lawrence Livermore National Labs (nuclear securty / virus manipulation), and the Palo Alto Research Company (thermo-acoustics) I like talking to people, and I can probably beat you in connect four. I created a free high-five club on campus, and I dressed up as robot and ran for student body president. I also like to play frisbee, listen to music, mix music, play guitar, and hang out with friends! Past Classes(Look at the class archive for more.)Motorcycles and Mechanisms in Splash! Fall 2011

Water You Waiting For?! in Splash! Spring 2011
We’ll learn about Bernoulli’s Equation and apply this to everyday situations. WIth the help of MythBusters and water guns, you’ll be able to blow your friend’s minds with your knowledge surrounding fluid flow.
This is a good class for those thinking about mechanical / aeronautical / astronautical engineering and engineering in general
**Based on the amount of questions asked, this class may end 15 minutes early**
Motorcycles and Mechanisms in Splash! Spring 2011
We'll be taking apart my Honda Dream motorcycle and exploring how it works.
Here's a picture of a motorcycle similar to mine: http://www.rcycle.com/Ken_Fisher_Honda_305_Dream_068_cropped_op_800x512.jpg

Get Safeway to Pay YOU for groceries in Splash! Spring 2010
Because I am really awesome I have mastered the art of couponing. If you would like to get 60 boxes of cereal for free, come to this class and learn how. It takes some dedication but it obviously pays off. I will explain how coupons work, how to combine coupons, what is legal, and what is illegal. I'll also show you pictures of my huge hauls and a video I made to better explain some of the difficulties of combining coupons. Soon, you too can own Safeway and laugh at those paying for groceries.
Options: The little-known gold mine for managing your money in Splash! Spring 2010
Have you heard of people trading options? What does that mean? How can you use options to improve your portfolio? We'll figure out what options are and the different strategies you can use to help reduce your risk in the market and to have people pay you for taking on an obligation.

Water you STILL Waiting For? in Splash! Fall 2009
This is the more advanced fluid dynamics class. We'll talk about laminar and turbulent flow, the Reynolds number, and if we have time move into aerodynamics.
This is also a good class to take if you are interesting in engineering!
After this class you can boast to your friends that you are pretty much a genius now.

Fluids in Splash! Fall 2008
Learn what a fluid is! Is air a fluid? We'll learn the mechanics behinds fluids. A few of the things we'll go into are:
How do you know how fast water comes out of your Super Soaker?
How much pressure would a fish experience at the bottom of the hoover dam?
Can things 'swim' in the air?
What happens at high speeds in fluids?
