Brief Biographical Sketch:

I received my Master's degree in Learning, Design and Technology at Stanford University in 2016, and am currently working as a learning experience designer designing profound transformative experience for students. I'm recently named as one of the top six Young Innovators of California by Westly Foundation. I love exploring new things and working with high school students to navigate their journey into adulthood.

H5204: Mind-Blowing: what it feels like & what it means in Splash Fall 2016 (Dec. 03 - 04, 2016)
When was the last time you had your mind blown? Was it from a book, or from art, or from an experience? This class explores what it feels like to have your mind blown, specifically the relationship between mind-blowing ideas and mind-blowing design. The class will take you on a journey through your own passions, push you to find the best ways to express your ideas, and help you design the tools you need to create meaningful change in both your life and in the world. The mind-blowing is an intersection of philosophy, culture, design, and physical experience, so be prepared to engage your entire mind, body, and heart in the process.


S4814: Be Psyched! Learn and Design a Social Psychology Experiment in Splash Spring 2016 (Apr. 09 - 10, 2016)
Are you curious about psychology? Have you ever wondered how psychologists come up with questions and test those ideas? Do you want to design YOUR OWN psychology experiment? In this class, we will give you a crash course on research design in social psychology--a sector of psychology that studies human thinking, feeling, and behaviors in a social setting. Then, you will work in a group to design an actual social psychology experiment, and share your work with the class. At the end of it, you will walk away with basic understanding of how to design a social psychology experiment, and an experiment design of your own that you can collect data for if you want! (The class will take approximately 2 hours with a break)
