Brief Biographical Sketch:

Veronica's career and academic experience has been in economics, economic development, business, tech, and start-ups. She has worked across and with business, government, and non-profit sectors. Before coming to Stanford, she worked in management consulting, a social impact start-up, and a civic engagement start-up. She studied economics with a focus in economic development at Claremont McKenna College. Veronica is passionate about addressing economic issues of poverty, inequality, and inclusive economic growth via innovation cross-sector solutions.

S7088: Economics, Business, and Society in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
What does the economy mean to us? What role does and should business play in society? How do metrics like GDP, poverty, inequality, and economic growth impact our communities' and our lives? This course will be taught by a Stanford MBA with a background in economics, economic development, business, and social impact.
