Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hey! I'm a sophomore at Stanford University double majoring in Computer Science and Music. Both fields allow me to explore and create cool things, from orchestral pieces to video games. I am the co-founder of Chromatiqa.org and one of the developers of the music game Notedrop.

H2992: Stage Clear! A Crash Course on Video Game Design in Splash! Spring 2013 (Apr. 13 - 14, 2013)
"Every good idea borders on the stupid" - Michel Gondry What makes a video game good? What aspects draw players toward it? How do games such as Super Mario, The Sims, Braid become immensely popular? This course gives a quick overview on the fundamentals of game design, and how it is as fun as, if not more so, than game development. Topics covered include needfinding, rapid prototyping, playtesting, level and character design, storytelling, and much more. Students will work in teams as game designers and present their work at the end. It will be full of awesome!
