Brief Biographical Sketch:

Chirag Patel is a postdoctoral fellow in the Stanford University School of Medicine department of radiology and a clinical neuro-oncology fellow in the department of neurology and neurological sciences. He will introduce high school juniors and seniors to glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of primary brain cancer. He will also discuss methods, particularly bioluminescence, that are used in the lab to help study this devastating disease and develop new therapies against it.
