Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a graduate student in the lab of Prof. Stacey Bent. I study surface science and work on developing new strategies for depositing materials onto metal surfaces. I’ve taught at Splash several times before and am looking forward to doing so again this year.

I love reading and am proud to have completed two whole books (for leisure not work) this quarter. I’m learning how to play the guitar and hope to perform at an open mike in the near future.

Past Classes

E6327: Fabricate an Edible Wafer in Splash Spring 2018 (May. 05 - 06, 2018)
You'll learn how scientists and engineers make teeny, tiny electronic devices on the microscale and nanoscale. Understand these techniques so you can fabricate your own wafer using cookies!

W5916: Science in Color in Splash Spring 2017 (Apr. 22 - 23, 2017)
In this class, students will learn about different concepts in chemistry and physics. Three different concepts will be covered in this class: 1) Elephant Toothpaste Experiment: demo to understand the concept of chemical reactions. 2) Underwater candle: demo to understand the concept of differential pressure 3) Electric balloon: hands-on activity to understand the concept of static electricity

E4195: Cool Polymer Science in Splash Spring 2015 (Apr. 11 - 12, 2015)
Come and learn about some of the wonderful applications of polymers, from elastic materials to electronic devices to strange fluids. Concepts will be illustrated through hands-on activities.
