Brief Biographical Sketch:

Eleanor Collier officially studies chemistry and creative writing at Stanford, but her biggest academic passion is the psychology and neuroscience of wellbeing. Her experience as president of the Happiness Collective (an undergraduate organization dedicated to promoting campus wellbeing) cemented her passion for educating students in the skills of happiness. Eleanor noticed that many existing wellbeing education programs don’t include a comprehensive social skills component. Since it took Eleanor nearly twenty years to overcome her own struggles with social anxiety, she decided to dedicate her career to teaching others research-based skills for more fulfilling social interactions.
