Brief Biographical Sketch:
Hi! I'm Kabir, a Stanford junior majoring in Management Science and Engineering with a minor in Political Science (it's a mouthful, I know). In my free time, I cover the Stanford football team for a sports website and work in Stanford's student government. I'm really excited to teach a Splash class! Ever wondered what the stock market is all about? Even though it may seem like it has nothing to do with most people, everyone has a stake in the stock market, and this class will teach you the basics of how to invest your savings and make your money work hard for you. We'll start with core money management concepts, especially how to open and use a bank account. From there, we'll explain the stock market in simple terms. We'll go over the benefits of the stock market and how you can participate in it!
