Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hey! My name is Louis or Lou. I live in Los Angeles, CA and am currently a freshmen at Santa Monica College. I plan to transfer into a UC for my junior year. I do not have major at the moment but am considering something in business or finance. I enjoy studying philosophy and mathematics, particularly pure maths, like logic and number theory. I also love watching movies, cooking, and playing board games. Feel free to come to my walk-in activity to learn and play Chinese Chess with me or if you just want to talk! I'd love to get to know you!

W7169: Chinese Chess (Xiang Qi) in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
This will be a walk-in activity in which students can learn and play Chinese chess! Chinese chess is wonderful game that is not very commonly played in the States. This game will be great for people who may be very interested in learning something new and to those who like chess! I will have many pamphlets to hand out to people to help them learn the game. I will also personally be helping out and showing students how to play.

L7170: Avalon! A social deduction game! in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
If you have ever played mafia before, you'll love Avalon! Avalon is a social deduction game, with a dynamic very similar to mafia, in which you try to deduce who's who based on certain clues. It is easy to learn once you play one round, and it can be incredibly fun and thrilling to play. Come by and play for a couple hours!
