Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hello All! I am a Stanford senior studying Psychology with an emphasis in health and development. I transferred here in the Fall of 2011 from a community college in southern California. I am currently working as a research assistant in the Dweck/Walton Lab and preparing an honors thesis that I will complete next year.

On a side, "life is" note: I am ceasely inspired by the humility and kindness that (although sometimes difficult to see) permeate our world.

And am super excited to, in a few weeks, share some of the knowledge I have gleaned here at Stanford!

B3031: The Biopsychosocial Model of Health in Splash! Spring 2013 (Apr. 13 - 14, 2013)
Health is a realm, powerful and confounding, that shapes all of our lives. Questions centered around the “best” way to live and the means by which to cultivate a happy mind & heart have pervaded the human species for centuries. How can we apply the knowledge gleaned by science to improve the health of our mind and body? How do we use stress and the reality of day to day existence to augment our well-being? This seminar investigates these questions in the context of the integrative, tried and tested biopsychosocial model of health.
