Advertisements, whether for products, politicians or ideas, are all around us. Their goal is to influence how we think, who we vote for and what we buy. In order for you to make good decisions as an informed consumer, citizen and individual, you need to be able to separate fact from fiction. In this class, you'll learn how to see exactly what advertisers are trying to sell you, and experiment with the critical thinking skills needed to decide what's right for you and what's not, based on facts, not hype.
