Brief Biographical Sketch:

Marisa is a sophomore at Stanford, double-majoring in Symbolic Systems (basically like Psychology + Computer Science, all rolled into one!) and French, and also completing a concurrent master's degree in Communication. On campus, she's involved in more activities than there are hours in the day to do them, including: Stanford Alumni Mentoring Leadership Team, Pre-Business Association, Pre-Law Society, The Stanford Daily, The Stanford Admissions Office Blog, the Student Advisory Group to the Vice Provost…and many more. Post-Stanford, she hopes to start her own company -- and/or perhaps expand her current jewelry business, which she founded before Stanford and continues to expand in her spare time (which is scarce!). She also loves hiking, cooking, traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things!
