Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm originally from Texas, and grew up in San Antonio, where I spent my days nerding out about science. I went on to get a B.S in Biology and Physics at the University of Texas at Austin, where I fell in love with biological research, and made my way over the Stanford to get a PhD in Chemical and Systems Biology.
