Brief Biographical Sketch:

Lakshminarayan "Ram" Srinivasan completed his M.D. at Harvard Medical School, Ph.D. at MIT, and B.S. at Caltech. He recently co-authored the new board review book Radiology Simplified (coming Fall 2014), which includes the first comprehensive physics review for the new radiology board exam, designed exclusively for the iPad. Srinivasan was in the first class to pass the new American Board of Radiology Core Exam. He is currently a neuroradiologist in clinical fellowship at Stanford, previously a resident physician at UCLA.

Srinivasan is also an active researcher. He finished postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Neurosurgery) and the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California (Computational Neuroscience). In 2010, Srinivasan founded the Neural Signal Processing Laboratory to create technology for real-time imaging of brain function. His former students have advanced into top-tier graduate schools.
