Brief Biographical Sketch:
I am currently a postdoc research associate at Stanford University studying plant development biology. My research is focused on leaf formation in plant using genetic and molecular biology tools. Before I moved to California, I did my postgraduate study at Yale University from a joint Ph.D program working on leaf vascular formation. Students review the structure of angiosperm plants and learn about the diversity of plant form by using evidence from examination of fruits and vegetables to identify which part of the plant each fruit or vegetable is.
