Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a CS student and software engineer focused on game development. Currently, I am an officer for the Stanford Game Developers Association. Previously, I developed Red or Blue, a 2D puzzle platformer with a unique color-switching mechanic, which was a finalist for showcase at Boston Festival of Indie Games 2018. I have also made several other games in Unity. In addition, I love teaching, and I am currently teaching Game Design twice a week at StreetCode Academy. Outside of game development, my proudest accomplishment is leading a team in building a mobile app for the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter.
I spend most of my free time playing video games (my favorite game is Hollow Knight), reading (my favorite series is The Kingkiller Chronicle), and traveling.

M7246: Game Design with Roblox in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
Do you like video games? Have you ever wanted to make one yourself? If you answered yes to either of them, then this class is for you! You will learn some fundamental game design principles, as well as how to make your own game in Roblox. We will discuss how you can think like a game designer, and practice playtesting and giving feedback. Everyone will create an obstacle course with checkpoints, and those of you who want a challenge can learn how to model buildings and create whole worlds! The core material will not contain any programming, but I am more than happy to help you if you want to add scripts to your game.
