Brief Biographical Sketch:

Yari enjoys playing piano, learning about anything that fascinates her (everything can be fascinating!) and spending time outdoors. She's considering studying the environment and education. She likes kids, tap dance, mud, and laughing.

V2473: Dancing the Galapagos in Splash! Fall 2012 (Nov. 03 - 04, 2012)
Explore the wild and bizarre movements of Galapagos creatures by dancing! We will learn about the evolution, behaviors, and conservation status of some Galapagos fauna, including the flightless cormorant (so graceful in water, so absurd on land), frigate birds (which attack other birds to make them regurgitate their food), land iguanas, the giant tortoises and more. We will briefly discuss current debates in the field of evolution, and then explore the archipelago's ecology through dance.
