Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm Anthony! Here's my bio: I study engineering here, which is sometimes a challenge. Classes are interesting, and can push your academic limits to the max. Outside of school, I try to keep balanced by cycling (ask me questions about collegiate racing!) and meditating. Four things I value the most: Family, sport, spirituality and learning. Thanks for reading!

M7286: Infinite Series in Splash Spring 2019 (May. 04 - 05, 2019)
There are cool ways to write down infinitely long lists of numbers. One is with a series. They're a neat math trick that uses special shorthand to shrink something that's never-ending into just a few terms. What's even cooler-you can use them to describe shapes (Archimede's did, for example). We'll just go over the basics, then learn a little of the math involved so you can tinker with your own series!
