ESP Biography

Brief Biographical Sketch:

A native of San Jose, I grew up with a deep passion for STEM and sharing cool science-y facts with everyone around me. Although I intended to major in math/CS major as an undergrad at Harvard, I switched over to the biology world when I became exposed to the fascinating realm of immunology research. As a graduate student in the cancer biology program here at Stanford, my current interest is understanding how our genes interact with the environment to lead to diseases such as cancer. In my free time I love listening to and playing classical music, shooting hoops and supporting the Warriors, and grinding elo in the MMORPG League of Legends.
