Brief Biographical Sketch:
I'm a 2nd year PhD student studying food security and the environmental impacts of agriculture. Before coming to Stanford, I worked as a research assistant for 2 years at a think tank in Washington DC and got a few degrees from The Ohio State University. More importantly though, I've tried to make the most of my time outside of school and work, volunteering as a math and science tutor, registering voters before every election, advocating for causes that I believe in at my university and in my state, and doing important research before spending and donating my money!
