P3096: Elephant Toothpaste in Splash! Fall 2013 (Nov. 02 - 03, 2013)
This class will introduce students to the role of catalysts in chemical reactions. We will identify everyday examples of catalysts and discuss their significance. The class will include various demonstrations and hands-on activities.


P2828: Magic Sand and Other Hydrophobic Interactions in Splash! Spring 2013 (Apr. 13 - 14, 2013)
You can dump it in water BUT IT NEVER GETS WET! Learn the chemistry of Magic Sand, otherwise known as hydrophobic sand. We'll also learn about other things that don't mix well with water like oil and soap. Find out how your dirt stains disappear. LIKE MAGIC! MAGIC!!!!
